1st INTERNATIONAL CHINA EUROPA SHORT FILM COMPETITION
While primarily being directed the world of the decision-makers, economists and experts, China Europa also makes way for artistic expression and young talents around Sustainable Urban Development...
This competition, opened to all the young film talents, is an initiative of China Europa 2009 organizers, a show and business convention scheduled on December 8th, 9th, 10th of this year. The objective is to associate a cultural event to these three days dedicated to business networking, with the wish to illustrate in an artistic way the chosen subject as the third edition of China Europa: “Sustainable Urban Development”.
I was addressed to students of Art schools, cinema, broadcasting and architecture; this competition mobilized about ten Chinese and European teams. 6 films were nominated and 3 were rewarded in Le Havre on April 2nd of this year by an eclectic jury chaired by the architect Paul Andreu.
Fictions, documentaries and cartoon movies made the success of this 1st edition. The quality and creativity of the students' work were greeted and Paul Andreu wished that this competition begins a long existence to bring on the foreground the other numerous young artistic talents.
